Charitable donations Mossvale Community Church is a Scottish charity [SC034871] registered with OSCR, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator. Our accounts and PAYE is managed by the company chartered accountants Nelson Gilmour Smith. Our finances are used towards the upkeep of our buildings, for salaries and contracted work, to facilitate the activities of our ministry groups, and to support individuals and causes including other charities both in the UK and overseas. We receive donations and process them as Gift Aid, General Offerings, Missions Fund or Building Fund. Giving during the COVID-19 crisis Several people have been asking about tithing at this time. Already a high number of the congregation give by bank transfer, either as a monthly or weekly standing order, or for the self employed a BACS transfer when they receive income. Essential non-food items are also of value such as toiletries and hygiene products. If you live a distance away from the church but still wish to donate food please check for your nearest Foodbank. Clothing Donations Donations can be received at the Mossy Cafe to be passed on to Sewing2gether All Nations or Clothed In Love.
