We are developing a range of services specifically for older adults in our community. Many of our members who are retired from full time work fill vital volunteering roles in many of our ministries.
Visitation Team
The Visitation Team provide company and support to those in need during difficult periods of their lives. This includes hospital and home visits.
Coffee Shop
The Mossy Cafe is currently open from 10am - 2.00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. We offer FREE hot drinks for those aged 70 and over - so please don't be offended if we ask your age, we are trying to make no-one who is entitled misses out!
Ailsa Court Service
We hold monthly Sunday services on the second Sunday of each month for the residents of Ailsa Court sheltered housing complex. We meet there at 1.00pm, singing their favourite traditional hymns, and sharing using drama, poems and short words of encouragement.
Re-engage (formerly Contact the Elderly)
We also host a "Re-engage (formerly Contact the Elderly)" lunch twice a year, and would encourage others to support this important charity.
