Food Donations
While we whole heartedly support Renfrewshire Foodbank, during the Covid-19 pandemic we also developed our own small store cupbaord of emergency supplies. We are happy to provide regular or one-off access to this to anyone in need.
We appreciate donations, including items which are halal or vegetarian. We would suggest items that do not need a can opener (ring pull tins) and foods that are of use to people who do not have access to cooking equipment or even hot water are also often of great benefit. Essential non-food items are also of value such as toiletries and hygiene products.
We try to keep a stock of:
cereals, porridge oats, breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, *rice (dried & microwaveable), couscous, *flour (plain and self-raising), *cooking oil, tins of soup, *tomatoes, lentils, beans, pulses, meat, vegetables, fruit, *tea / coffee (including decaf) / hot chocolate, uht milk, fruit juice, diluting juice, biscuits and other snacks, *sugar, salt, pepper and other spices or sauces, *sanitary protection, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, razors, wipes
*these are the most popular items
