The youth group is held every Friday night at Mossvale Community Church. We start at 7.15pm and finish at around 9pm. The youth group is aged from primary 7 and we accept all shapes, sizes! We don’t care if you’ve been to church all of your life or if you’ve never stepped foot in a church. Don’t be shy and feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in! We feel that this is going to be a safe, relaxed place where people are free to ask questions and learn more about God. As a group we are seeking to know God on a deeper level; to experience a greater intimacy with Him.
Our evenings consist mainly of games, chilling out, worship, talks,
group activities and discussion group. Each month will have a theme to
our talks and discussion groups, this month we are focusing on worship
– the different kinds of worship and how they glorify God. We will also
invite in guest speakers along; so watch out! We will also have regular
Friday nights set aside especially for ‘bringing a friend along’ where
we will probably go out somewhere or bring food into the church or
something for a more relaxed social night. We also hope to take a few
evening services at church so make sure that you come to those. If
you’re unsure whether or not the youth group is right for you then feel
free to contact the church. We’re having a social night on the 5th of
December when we’re going bowling. If you’re not sure if you want to
come to the youth group or not this is a great chance just to meet
everyone and get an idea of whether you’d like to come to youth or not.
We will be letting you know of any future guest speakers or social
nights through the church website.
