At 7 O'Clock last Saturday evening everyone sat with baited breath,
waiting for the words which would reveal the latest star to earn their
chance of fame and fortune. Nope, this wasn't 'X-Factor' this was
'Strictly Mossvale's Got Talented X-Factored Celebrity Idols On Ice'
and a greater finale you would not have found this side of the goggle
box.
There were many wonderful acts on the night, highlights included the scottish version of 'Stavros Flatley' and a guest performance by a would be telly thief who opted for a bit of Spandau Ballet. All of these acts combined to produce a wonderful evening of laughter and sheer breathtaking talent. However, out of the many excellent acts to grace the stage on the night the winner was hardly in doubt as his performance on the night had earned him a spontaneous standing ovation from everyone gathered.
And so it was that Peter Chalk (aka Pavarotti) accepted the trophy for Winning this years 'Strictly Mossvale's Got Talented X-Factored Celebrity Idols On Ice', and after the applause had died down, the night finished off with another 'hairs on the back of the neck' rendition of' nessun dorma' from the Italian maestro.
