Men's Meeting

Wednesday 7pm (alternate months with Study Groups)

We aren’t our labels. We aren't who others say we are. As God’s child, our true identity isn't based on our own warped or broken image of our self. So how can we get to our true identity? By laying down who we think we are to become who God says we are.

We'll think about issues like our feelings of inadequacy and low self esteem, the need for control, the problems caused by offence, and the desire for approval from others —and learn to exchange these feelings for the grace and love of Christ.

Wednesdays in September 2017, 7pm.

Need a little personal poison control?
Are there relationships, thoughts, or behaviors that quietly compromise our well-being?
How can we learn to recognize and remove the hidden dangers in our lives?

  • toxic thoughts
  • toxic influences
  • toxic friendships
  • toxic words
  • toxic religion
  • toxic things

When we’re pushed to our limit, we have a choice to make. Will we choose the path of least resistance or will we have the courage to take a Stand?

Join us as we watch and discuss this 5 week series by Craig Groeschel, every Wednesday in September 2016 at 7pm.

FIGHT – Winning the Battles that Matter Most.
Men's five week Bible Study starting Wednesday 22nd April 2016 at 7pm.

“God created men to have the heart of a warrior, placing a desire within us to stand up and fight for what’s pure, for what’s true. A man has a warrior’s heart. You have a warrior’s heart. You itch for a fight. That’s God’s design, not ours. That doesn’t mean that men should be aggressive, alpha-bully punks. (Nor does it mean that women can’t fight for what’s right as well.) It simply means that within every man, God has planted a divine desire to fight for righteousness.” ― Craig Groeschel, "Fight: Winning the Battles That Matter Most"

In February 2014, many of our men graduated from a two year teaching programme based on the Building a Discipling Culture curriculum.

Since then we have relaunched our Men's Meeting, with a time of worship, teaching and time for a chat to get to know and support each other better.
